Artist's Description
Collage of vintage and found materials on deep wood panel. Tertullian (early Christian author) quote. Since the government no longer works for the good of the people, on the blue field instead of stars, there are foreign looking incomprehensible characters to represent multi-national corporations and hostile foreign governments we now court. The bullet casings represent the NRA, its posturing and promotions leading to the slaughter of innocents and all beings made less safe. SOLD does not need an explanation, does it? Cloves are the nails that bind us to the many atrocities committed for all we have become.
